"I bid you welcome and hope that you will find much of interest in our magnificent medieval chateau. Besides being a fascinating visitor attraction, the castle fulfils many other roles ... as a unique setting for weddings, corporate entertaining, filming and product launches. You can even stay in our medieval guest bed chambers or attend one of our themed medieval dinner events with overnight stay... perfect for that very special occasion.
Please feel free to contact us for any special wishes you might have."

Count Jaye Muller de Vexin

In keeping with it's medieval origins, Chateau de Guilleragues tries to stay in style and transport you back in time for an extraordinary authentic medieval experience. Of course, modern times didn't pass us by completely, as there are electricity, running water and modern sanitary facilities; not available to it's illustrious residents 500+ years ago.

This extraordinary fortified castle dates back to the 12th-16th century and was last remodeled in 1564 by the Lavergne family, who's most famous member was Gabriel-Joseph Lavergne de Guilleragues, secretary to the "Sun King" Louis XIV and ambassador to Constantinople in the 17th century.
