The Chateau de Guilleragues is located in the famous Bordeaux wine region of L'Entre Deux Mers. It is easy to get to the castle. You can either fly into Bordeaux International Airport (BOD) or the smaller airport in Bergerac. Both are about 1 hour away by car and both have rental car facilities available. From Bordeaux, drive on to the Rocade motor way, follow signs to Toulouse (A62), then after about 30 minutes take the exit La Reole. Once in La Reole, follow the signs to Monsegur. Shortly after reaching the small village of La Violette you will see signs to the chateau on the right. From here it's about 1 mile to the castle in Saint Sulpice de Guilleragues. You can't miss it once in the village. |

Air France and British Airways fly to Bordeaux, as well as Easyjet, FlyBe and other airlines. Ryanair flies to Bergerac. When you arrive in either of these airports you might want to plan some extra time to spend in Bordeaux or Bergerac. Hertz, Avis and other rental car agencies are right at the airports within walking distance. |
